The thought of how many people out there are not truly living the life they want consumes me daily. It’s an obsession, and it drives me. I want you to be fit, have a more positive impact on the world around you, and look in the mirror with pride and contentment because today, the reflection of yourself is the best version of you looking back.
We do that every day at Armati Collective. Now, that doesn’t make our gym unique or special. You can get fit at any gym if you show up consistently for enough time. Ah, but that’s it, isn’t it?? The showing up part sounds simple, yet it can be the hardest.
This part of the equation constantly grabs my attention. How do we continue to create an environment where people show up repeatedly over time?
I focus on three major areas. The first is keeping it fresh and fun. This is one of the biggest reasons we are a CrossFit affiliate. The programming is efficient and effective, and because it’s constantly varied, it stays fun. Pair that with a rad group of driven people, and you’ve got a place where people want to be.
Second, you need to stay healthy. As a sports-based chiropractor, I’ve spent a decade and a half learning sports medicine and exercise science because how you move matters to me if you’re going to stay consistent. We’ve built Door County’s only fitness facility, run by a sports doctor who oversees the quality of training. Blending injury rehabilitation with fitness keeps you up and running, improving fitness regardless of your current disabilities and limitations. Add in the highest quality fitness coaching team in our area, which certainly helps with that consistency.
Third…results! Are you achieving the health and fitness goals you set in the first place? Well, this creates a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation. Results keep you going, but you need to keep going long enough to get there. A plan of action, follow-ups, and benchmarks along the way ensures you’re moving in the right direction. We want you to stack wins and overcome obstacles all the time.
It comes with consistent hard work and effort over time if you want better in life. Doing the common uncommonly well. Keeping it going when most others have quit, but I promise you, the effort is worth it.
At Armati Collective, our obsession is fostering a culture that breeds consistency, forging stronger people who are harder to kill. If you want to level up in life, start by finding a tribe that helps you stay consistent. If you’re struggling to find one, reach out here, and I’d be happy to connect you with ours.
